The way the team responded with CB out makes me think they can win it all despite Flip.

Well, Flip has not really used AJ, sparingly used AA, used Stuckey extensively (due to injury to CB) and Max has had his chances.
The Pistons happen to be the hottest team in the post season right now.

So, has Flip chose to win? Or, is he fighting Dumars? At this very moment?

Strange thing is i have total faith in our ability to beat any Western Conference team. I just don't have faith in our ability to get that far.

Let's be honest. We were playing ORL, and our offense still looked broken at times, and we let them come back in every game, and every quarter for that matter. What happens when we play against a team that plays better defense?

We have trouble stopping penetration, and the rotation is off. Amir is not getting any play, even though he's one of our best defenders/rebounders. AA's min are spastic even though he's played well. Arvis is still in the rotation, and Tay has no back-up.

Dyess looks to be the permanent starter again.

We can win it yes, but there are too many variables in the way Flip Saunder's brain works to give us a great chance, so i guess i'm 50-50.

Maybe Flip can win it all despite CB.

It really all depends on how effective Billups is with his tender hammy.

If he plays tentative then a Rondo, CP, Deron Williams, Dfish, or Tony Parker may blow by him...Without his injury, the Pistons could have swept the Magic and been well rested to be ready for the Celtics or Cavs and probably win the ECF in 5 or 6.

Now it's up in the air despite their impressive shorthanded win over the Magic.

This is our best chance to get it done. We're resting for the ECF, the other eastern powerhouses are slugging it out. Lakers/hornets look good but only Kobe is battle tested. For me its one game at a time.

They showed clips of CB running in practice during game 5 so I would assume he will be back to 100% by next week.

This is a great point. Even when 100%, CB's lateral movement on defense is less than stellar. The Pistons may have to resort to lots of zone if CB is ailing.

If you look at the plus side of the injury ( given the fact that it happened). The Pistons had the opportunity to sharpened up at winning close games in crunch time and Stucky's confidence shot up 500%. Imagine how much more we will get out of Stucky from here on out.
