I have confidence in Stuckey, I just know he won't get the benefit-of-the-doubt-captain-finals MVP-veterans call that Billups would get in a series vs the Stern favs Celtics or Lakers....I know I am being pessimistic here, but those are the facts in this NBA Finals marketing machine... Yeah there are rookie/silly fouls, but he spent more time than he should on the bench in the last two games in foul trouble.

Unfortunatly thats very true. One time I sat near courtside and I realized something - you can't see through players, they can be quit an obstruction. From the TV vantage point you get the overhead view but the refs on the court can't see everything so they must just give the more known player the benefit of doubt in a call or non-call when they did not have a clear view. It could just be as simple as that.

At least Stucky made the rookie 2nd team so thats at least some recognition. Maybe not enough to get the obscured call on Parker but it should be enough against unknown bench player A.

Of the seven teams remaining in the playoffs, I'd rank us 5, 6, or 7.

I'd certainly rank our opponent, Orlando, the weakest team of the final 8.

If Billups makes it back without problems, I think our chances are very good.

RS has played well, especially for a rookie. We set a playoff record for fewest turns with Rodney taking the lead. Tayshaun has been a playoff Allstar. Dice has played like a MAN. Maxiell has had some very good games. Rip has set playoff scoring records. Lindsey can still ball and he isn't tired from playing all season. Sheed can be the best power forward in the NBA. AA has played major seconds to ward off elimination.

We have the second best record in the NBA and homecourt advantage over everyone but the Celtics. We are the first team to make it to the conference finals, have played the fewest games of anyone left (less minutes for the starters and everyone else). We have time to rest, heal, and watch tape/ games of our next opponent. I like our chances.

I would like to think we could be getting more from AA if given a chance.

It's a moot point.

When you are "emergency" starting 1 rook, it's probably not time to break in another one in the playoffs.

I think that we have as good a chance as anybody, but that still puts us in the 25-30% likelihood range.

I like our team.

I've noticed that our coach twitches a lot though.

Let's be honest. We were playing ORL, and our offense still looked broken at times, and we let them come back in every game, and every quarter for that matter. What happens when we play against a team that plays better defense?

We have trouble stopping penetration, and the rotation is off. Amir is not getting any play, even though he's one of our best defenders/rebounders. AA's min are spastic even though he's played well. Arvis is still in the rotation, and Tay has no back-up.

Dyess looks to be the permanent starter again.

We can win it yes, but there are too many variables in the way Flip Saunder's brain works to give us a great chance, so i guess i'm 50-50.
This is pretty much my view. I think we can beat SA or NO, whichever of the two come out of the West, with our vets. But not against Cleveland or Boston. Still picking SA by the way, with NO as my underdog pick.
