Seriously. To not be talked about a lot is one thing, but NEVER EVER being mentioned means that NOBODY thinks they were any good. That's a pretty high level of SUCK. Or should I say a pretty low level?

I think Darko was discussed a few times after he was traded.
Are you saying that he sucks less than NazMo or Ron Murray?

There's some pretty decent names on the FA market this summer and Joe's got a decent amount of cap space to work with.

I think the team will look a LOT better next year!
So you are telling me that it is best to do roof work when the sun is shinning?

I think a lot will depend on how the rest of these playoffs play out. I could actually see Dice retiring if we win it all.

If Dice is back next season, I'd like to see his minutes and roles flip flopped with J-Max's. I'd like to see J-Max starting and getting 30 minutes a game and Dice as our 6th man and getting 20 a game - back into the role that he has held for us up until this season.

...

Do you think that Max can hold up to those type of mins? every time he starts to get extended mins he seems to hit a wall.... thats why I am afraid he's never going to be a full time starter or a player able to handle 30 plus mins in games.

Don't get me wrong I love his game and in short spurts he'll remain a great bench player who gets put in postitions to excell.... just not sold on him as a full time starter unless he has another level we havn't seen yet.

You may be right, being an undersized energy type player, 20ish minutes a game may be his ideal spot. The diminishing returns could just be a conditioning issue as well. He hasn't logged a ton of minutes the past 3 seasons, averaging 6.0, 14.1 and 21.5 minutes a game.

I'd be happy with Dice and J-Max each in the 20-25 minute range and giving AJ the difference. I do prefer Dice off the bench though. I think it helps J-Max, as he's in with the starters and can fit in a bit better, IMO. It allows him to be the energy guy rather than being more of a go-to guy. Plus, Dice off the bench is a nice scoring option with the 2nd unit.

Re: Pistons Future

Wasn't Big Ben undersized? He was a starter. I think J Max Will be a better edited copy of Ben Wallace. He will be used for more minutes soon.
