But don't forget, we will be drafting #29, + Samb + Amir + Stuckey + Afflalo + Maxiell and core....

Yesterday in spain,it´s said that Pamesa Valencia want to hire Walter Herman, i think is very difficult,Pamesa is the 5 team(the are more rich teams in spain acb league) and walter is a young and polivalent player not very expensive to re-sign by pistons.
I hope Walter Stay and we finally find one 3 shoot specialist for the future pistons,Stuckey and AA lack, and Tay is not his best skill.
The link with pamesa/walter rumour.

Sheed and Dyess are one year veteran,34 o 35 years? We will beat lakers next year?
We can trade two valerous players to nba title assault,Chauncey or Rip,veteran players with high contract,we can trade him for god pick or big god young players(la marcus aldridge? i think is very dificult but we must try to do it).
We have quality god players to begin a project(Tayshaun,Rodney,Maxi and god second unit players as AA or Amir,¿Samb?),Sheed have one year to lead this new project, and sign minimal contract after.
If young players have minutes,we don´t have too much victorys of 40 or less.
In february limit trade,we could trade one of our veteran elite play off player for a nba 2009 contender for picks or young player of a third team, like seattle in the cavs trade this year.

Is my point of view,a rebuild project when we won this tittle

Sorry for my english.
Good post. I agree that the days of the Pistons strolling through the East like it was their birth right will soon be over. The East is getting better and the Celtics will be back next season regardless of what happends in this series.

It is time for the Pistons to do something if we do not win this. Good news is that we have a lot more tradeable options than we had a couple of years ago. If it comes down to the Pistons having to make some moves the expiring contracts of Sheed and Rip are very attractive along with some of the young talent. Billups, Tay are also a good bargains for the money.

I don't really see anything too crazy happening but if Dumars wanted to then he could mix things up quit a bit a lot easier this summer than in previous ones I believe.

Re: Pistons Future

How about Posey on the roster for outside shooting and defense?

Re: Pistons Future

My guess is that Sheed is attractive to nobody. We are stuck with him, hopefully at the discounted price. If nobody clamored for "Mr. Big Shot" then Sheed will draw a yawn..........
