This Must Be A Record

I can't imagine a Piston team ever having gone more than five straight days without playing a game during the regular season. So this hiatus has to at least tie a record for the most days of nothing.

In fact it has been so long since the Pistons last played I don't even remember who there last opponent was. LOL

Well things will change quickly beginning tomorrow. I believe they have something like 12 games in the next 24 days or something like that.

As of now they have played the least number of games in the league. I think this scheduling tells us that the boys in Mr Stern's office aren't exactly Piston fans.

Looking forward to some action tomorrow. Go Pistons.

I can't even remember who our starters are. I think there was less time between the end of the Finals and the start of training camp.

This is going to work out nicely for me actually. I'll be spending a couple of weeks over Christmas with my folks -- who have a television, unlike myself -- and I hope to catch as many games -- preferably Pistons games -- as I can.

what sucks is that the pistons will have huge breaks like this all season, but they will have lots of back to back sets. more than half of the games are part of back to back sets this season (44).

Seems that . . .

. . . the forum has been quite civilized considering the long break between games. In the past, forums seem to get pretty feisty when these breaks occur.

Nice going, "boring forumites" !!

Is there any other team that has such a long break in between games this season?
