We may not need a true center but someone who can grab boards which we seem to be lacking now as well as someone who can post up with ease and provide more points in the paint on team that lives and dies on jumpshots. Non conventional, but
acting center Paul Gasol is surely the x factor that the Laker are using to breeze past their foes in the WC playoffs. His length and long arms are perfect to received lobs and ez layup/dunks when needed.
