Ok, your moment is up now.

Keep it going guys. Obviously the Cannuckian is just jealous that he isn't privy to the real secrets within the org... D,J. will be the best thing to happen to this team since Unka Debunkalogo.

Careful...I know Roscoe. He's going to start whining in a minute about how running this forum is like herding cats.

Well, now that you point it out...those cats do kinda resemble the forum trouble makers (aka Jammer, Lambs, and Linwood).

From what I've heard, nobody steps into Rufus' shoes. DJ better mind his P & Q's or he's probably gonna get F'd up.

I don't think you guys are making him feel very welcome.

It's common knowledge he is going to be drafted by the Pistons so I say we roll out the red carpet and make him feel at home. It's this kind of negative talk that almost ruined the careers of Darko M. and Rodney W.

IMO Samb puts on another 30 pounds this summer or he sits on the bench again.
SO either you find a sleeper who may sneak into that staring center spot later in the season or trade up with one of those egos currently on the team...especially if they can't survive and are eliminated Friday or Sunday.
Is it really so important in today's NBA to have a "true center"? How many "true centers" do you have to go through in the East to get to the Finals? I count one, and we dispatched him pretty easy. The Pistons were pretty successful with a 6'9" center who couldn't play a lick of offense. I would say our lack of a "true center" is not the team's problem at all.

We may not need a true center but someone who can grab boards which we seem to be lacking now as well as someone who can post up with ease and provide more points in the paint on team that lives and dies on jumpshots. Non conventional, but acting center Paul Gasol is surely the x factor that the Laker are using to breeze past their foes in the WC playoffs. His length and long arms are perfect to received lobs and ez layup/dunks when needed.
