Hahaha, that was the best. I loved watching the bench. He was always yelling at someone for something.

unforgettable moment

My all time favourite LB moment was the time out he called against the Pacers so that Reggie could get his final standing O.

Seeing all the Pistons at centre court clapping for Reggie in their building, after a grueling series and all of the "extras" of last year was priceless.

Lb

I'll miss the guy's play-calling out of timeouts. Seems like they always scored after one. I'll miss his hot wife although there weren't nearly enough shots of her. I'll actually miss hearing playing "the right way" even though it was an overused phrase. I'll miss the guy's interviews with Wojo on the radio, which I heard occasionally thanks to Mlive links. LB has kind of a cool way of dealing with media types that he likes. He'll need that in NY. They're locusts there. 'Course, if you can make it there, you can make it anywere. One thing I don't want to miss: being a title contender. I have high hopes for Flip, but I'm worried.

I'll miss his layed back attitude in interviews and the way he sharpshoots reporters who aren't on their toes.

And won't we all miss hearing "Play the right way", 6 million times a season?

I waited to long everyone took my thunder. But what I'll miss the most is his development of Rip CB and Ben into more complete players. The respect he demanded from players and other coaches alike will be missed on the sidelines.

Maybe he had a development plan for Darko and this was the year we will never know.........

Things I will miss

7-guy rotations

Small Ball

Yelling at every bench player other than Hunter for taking long shots

Wanting PG's to get rid of the ball fast even though it would often end up back in Hunters hands 7 passes later with 1 sec left on the shot clock.

Lack of 3's.

Blasting Memo on the side line for taking a 3 while Sheed is in the process of jacking up his 5th attempt for the game.

Starting every game with a missed shot by Ben.

Turning on ESPN to catch the latest rumor of where the head coach would like to work.

Garr Heard.

- Alright, LB did bring a lot of positives. He did help Billups add another dimension to his game making him a legit PG. Also helped Rip with his D and challenged everyone to go after rebounds.

-Most of all. You can take away all the what-ifs and should of could of's. Because most important of all the Pistons did win their 3rd francise title in 2004. And that was a great season.

I've been thinking about this for a couple of days. Trying to think of something nice to say. But I just won't miss him. I didn't find him particularly interesting. I didn't really care for him.

I know the Pistons were very successful with him as coach. I don't know any coaches that I can confidently assert would have done better. But I don't know that many other coaches wouldn't have done as well.

I don't ever remember going to any game looking forward to seeing ANY coach anyhow, so I won't miss him.

I think my favorite Detroit coaches were Monte Clark, Rick Forzano (I know, both losers), Chuck Daly, Ray Scott, and perhaps my favorite was Billy Martin. I'm drawing a blank on the wings. Scotty was ok.

I never cared for Sparky (too egotistical) and thought Wayne Fontes was a clown.

Sorry, but I won't miss Larry Brown in the least.

Max,

3s are just a perceptive thing. We took more last year than the championship year. In fact, we took more last year than any Flip Saunders Minnesota team has taken (last year doesn't count because McHale was behind the bench for half of the season).

We gave up too many 3 point attempts last year.

Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell."

bye bye Brown

I can't say that I'll miss Brown at all. But I am glad for what he brought to the team (aside from his mismanagment of Darko).

Going into last season I felt that it would be diminishing returns from here on in, so I was hoping we (actually, he) would cut our ties and move on.

The way it happened was unfortunate, but I believe the entire Piston's organization and Larry Brown himself, are better for the time he spent hear and the fact that he's now gone.

I am not harping on 3's really but will be nice giving guys more freedom to take them when open.

You know this is something I am going to lookup.

Pistons ranked 22nd in 3-attempts and SAN for comparison ranked 13th. Kind of ironic the old saying live and die by the 3. SAN killed us by it in the Finals.

Lets see how links go here.
