Could you imagine a frontline of Sheed, Ron Ron and Max?

LOL, that would be awesome..........You wouldn`t know what to expect!

That could almost be "Bad Boys" part II!

Re: realistic roster changes

Artest is high-risk high-reward type of player. If he keeps his head on straight, he could be huge. Otherwise...

Re: realistic roster changes

Marc Gasol go to NBA, the center and MVP of spanish league announced today he play in memphis, but he don´t discard finish in other team by trades.

He is another cheap, young center for pistons, with weigth and offensive skills.

You lost me after "he's another cheap, young center for Pistons, with weigth and offinsive skills". What?

Another thought..........I'd have to say that Joe D may be a little hesitant to trade for an unproven European. The last time we drafted one it didn't turn out so swell.

Re: realistic roster changes

Gasol is not milicic,Darko is not a fiba world champion as Gasol,Darko is a losser in the same tournament,he is a rookie but when he has 15 years old come go with Pau Gasol to live in memphis. He is aclimated american life, and is more stronger and tall than Darko.
Here in spain is said memphis offer him 3 million $ /year,is low salary for a real center.
The problem is pistons don´t try to find good europeans,i think Joe find other solutions, but Marc Gasol is a steal,he play in olympics is the starter center of spanish team.

Aldridge(PF),Kamman(C) or Okaffor(C) are proben and elite class players, but too expensive,Marc Gasol could be integrated without a important modify of pistons salary cap.

Bad Boys part II would be worth the gamble. I'd even suggest signing Martin Lawrence as a bench scrub to complete the concept.

Re: realistic roster changes

Gasol is not a free agent. Doesnt' Memphis have his rights? And why would they want to give him up if they considered him one of the centerpieces of his brother's trade?

Re: realistic roster changes

Blaha doesn't think that Rip and Sheed will be moved:

Quote:
There's an outside chance that the Detroit Pistons won't make any major moves this offseason, but play-by-play announcer George Blaha, who is a member of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame's 2008 class, thinks that'll happen only if team president Joe Dumars doesn't get the value he's looking for from other teams.
Most likely, Blaha tells Mike Stone on WDFN's The Stoney and Wojo Show, Rasheed Wallace &ndashl; because of his age – and Richard Hamilton – because of his consistency – will stick around.

"I don't know who's going to go of the remaining three," he says, "but those two are the least likely to go. I believe Joe is determined to shake them up, and if he can do something he thinks will help this team, then I think he'll do it.
Entire inteview could be heard here:
