Joe says that if he makes a trade he won't just give a guy away, he wants an all-star back. With that in mind I don't see any players coming in this season. Quite frankly there are no all-star caliber players available, nobody is going to trade a young stud for anybody in our core - or any 2 of our core for that matter.

I believe that Joe should trade for depth, Billups won't get you an all-star player but he can get you 2 real good players and a mid 1st rounder.

Here's a gamble of a trade: Billups + Dyess for Q.Rich + Lee + Curry
PG: Stuckey / FA (Telfair/Dixon/Whoever)
SG: Rip / AA
SF: Prince / Q.Richardson / Sharpe
PF: Sheed / Amir / Maxiel
C: Curry / Lee/ Samb / Ratliff

Huge ?????'s @ PG & w/Curry, but a deep, young (but no too young), athletic team. Hey you guys keep saying you want Joe to get off the conservative BS!!!!!!

I've come to the conclusion that there is no "Superstar" to be acquired via trade this summer. So I feel that our best bet is to trade 1 of our Really GOOD players for 2-3 decent/good players. This brings me to this trade with Portland.

Billups & Maxiel for Outlaw/Blake/Frye.

How bad does Portland want that "Great" PG to go alongside Roy??? Also, I'm totally convinced that we can only have so many PF's on a team and that if we're really sold on Amir then Max needs to go.
