On The Table...Three Way Trade..Det, Mil...Den..Construct A Trade

Over the past week or so, there is so much in major newspapers regarding a possible Denver/Det trade. Now I am seeing a possible Den/Mil trade but all signs point towards needing a third team.

Generally speaking, when there are a lot of so-called rumors about a trade and it becomes consistent, tells me that there is some validity to it.

Just read an article this morning about George Karl's man-love for M. Redd.

Now with this being said, here you have Johnny Hammond in Milwaukee, CB from Denver, rumors a plenty regarding a trade between Detroit and Denver...Either this is a smokescreen by Joe D to throw everyone off, or there is a high probability of a three way trade in the mix.

With that said, here are the questions that I have developed for the contract gurus on the forum:

1) What commodity does Denver or Milwaukee possess to address our needs in the frontcourt?

2) How can a three-way trade with Milwaukee benefit us?

3) Can we construct a trade so that we can get a piece from Milwaukee and a piece from denver?

4) Would Villanueva be an answer to our problems scoring in the paint?

5) If Redd goes to Denver, that cancels out CB going to Denver, would he fit in Skiles offense?

6) Would we need a 4th team to sweeten the pot, if we do, who would you suggest for that 4th team?

Maybe Bogut? Camby probably would address some issues. Other than that I am not sure.

Re: On The Table...Three Way Trade..Det, Mil...Den..Construct A Trade

I like this idea. This trade gets DET younger, deeper and better built for the playoffs while DEN & MIL get much needed stability and veteran leadership. This trade was approved by the ESPN trade machine.

Detroit sends:
McDyess to Denver
Tayshaun Prince & Amir Johnson to Milwaukee

Detroit gets:
Steven Hunter and Chucky Atkins from Denver and

Dan Gadzuric, Mo Williams & Ramon Sessions from Milwaukee

Outlook:
This trade allows Sheed to move back to PF as DET gets much needed size up front with Gadzuric and Hunter. There is a lot of versatility to this 2 headed C monster as well with Hunter athleticism and Gadzuric's touch and size. There is no need to worry about foul trouble either when you add Max to this group.

DET's guards would be CB, Rip, Atkins, Mo Williams, Stuckey, AA and Ramon Sessions. That again is a lot of versatility and depth. Moving Stuckey between the 1 and 2 is no problem with Williams and Atkins to run the point.

The only weakness with this team is SF, but the stacked depth above allows you to move someone if need be. They also have the mid level to sign someone like Herrrrrrman. Right now, AA would start with Rip backing him up. You could also start Max at the 3. He has the quickness to keep up there.

We don't have enough roster spots for all of these scrubs.

How do you figure? I count 11 named. Assuming they sign Herrrrrrman or, even better, Sammy Meija that's 12. Samb and 2 draft picks is your 15 man roster.

Center - Gadzuric, Hunter, Samb
PF - Sheed, Max
SF - Meija (Could backup @ PF if they went small)
SG - Rip, AA, Sessions (Rip and AA backup @ SF)
PG, CB, Stuckey, Atkins, Williams
2 draft picks

Notes: I'm starting Gadzuric here because they would open with Sheed playing down low some. Plenty of D here as well with Meija @ SF. He could also help out with the bringing the ball up if need be. (I'm guessing he won't wear down as much Tay would either - this will become more evident below.)

If you want to go with D (It'll probably be the regular bench unit though.) You bring in Hunter, Max (or Sheed, you can't lose!!!!), Meija, AA and Stuckey. You still got Samb to use and if Meija needs a break, which is doubtful, you got Maxey at the 3.

Teams press or trap CB and you got Mo Williams and Atkins who are knock down shooters to boot. These guys can win in the regular season and be rested and ready for the playoffs.

I like it, but the PG situation is a lil chaotic.

First, That is horrific. Sessions is a PG. That would give us 5 point guards, a terrible small forward (and I mean TERRIBLE), and no backup.

I really don't see anything special going on with the Bucks, I would have to bring in a third team, preferably, the Clippers or Portland.

How many SF have led their team to a title, 1? This trade leaves you stacked at the most important positions, PG and C, and places (defensively).
