edit to add: Worth $10M/year? no. I think Joe let his emotions take over that contract negotiation Last edited by detteam : 07-15-2008 at 09:12 PM. |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? As much as I wanna keep believing in Amir's potential...I've been losing faith. food4thot...how many 3 year SL players are making $3.7M a year? Here's an extended version of the trade I proposed earlier RealGM: Trade Checker Sac is sorta over-loaded at 2 & 3 with Martin, Garcia, Salmons & Artest...maybe they'd go for it |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? I'm in hoping for this TRADE suggestion miller and artest for sheed and prince works on real GM. I like it. I'm tired of Sheed's act. Miller ain't great, but he can hit a J and pass, and I would expect him to be more consistent on O than Sheed. On defense, if we get a breakout contribution from Amir, then Miller can be his mediocre self and we still come out ahead. It's iffy, I realize. But... Artest is WAY BETTER PLAYER than Tay. He's also wildly unpredictable. I think Joe's angle with him is this-- if you come to Detroit and I take a chance on you it is possible for you to be fully redeemed. And the Pistons can be also redeemed, likewise. It's got that good story feel. Joe likes that. So does Stern. I think Artest is our guy. As crazy as that sounds. I say roll the die. |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? We probably should be focusing more on the other frontcourt positions as thats where the Pistons need help. So far every credible trade rumor has involved Prince so there must be something to it. |
