| Re: Tay on the trade market? I'm in hoping for this TRADE suggestion Quote:
![]() When you say Artest is "wildy unpredictable" it makes him sound like a weather pattern. He's not, he's a grown man who time and time again has chosen to act like a violent, self-absorbed creep. He attacked innocent spectators, "forgot" to feed his dogs, beat his wife, and almost singlehandedly took the Pacers from an elite team to a laughingstock, which was a complete betrayal of the teammates who had stood by him. And that's just a quick summary. Here's a more complete list, but it's from last year, so you would have to add a section about how he's been screwing with the Kings management. I honestly can't believe the number of posters who want to see this guy in Detroit. Go talk to some Pacers or Kings fans and find out what he's done to their team. |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? Lurker. I know it makes little sense, my proposal. It's trading our problem for theirs, and in the light of day even I am astonished I posted it. I'm bored with the team, I guess. No good reason to bring a bigger head case in, except that Curry/Joe D might be able to squeeze one great year out of him, and Sheed, in my opinion, has lost all credibilty with the other players. I can not see how he stays. I'm not so sure I want to trade Prince, but his name keeps getting brought up in the rumors. |

Princes name keeps comming up because outside of Rip and Stucky, who I don't think Dumars wants to trade, is probably our most attractive asset. |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? I'm pretty sure this is the last year in Artest's deal, he's less risky than Sheed, who wants to retire... Ron Ron is going to behave in a contract year. Sheed is OUT after this season. So he's a major risk. OK. Let's get er done, Joe D. Starters= Billups, Rip, Artest, Maxie, and Miller. Dice and Stuckey first off bench with Amir, Afflalo, and the rookie Adderall (Sharpe) as role players. It's risky, but staying pat is a certain failure. |

Your assuming Artest is at all in control of himself... and i think he doen't even know whats going on.... sheed is a loose cannon but he is in control of himself.. unless i am given an option to reverse any trade for artest for the length of his stay in detroit there is no way i would take him. |

| Re: Tay on the trade market? Detteam- Sheeds performance in the closeout game was abominible. He didn't lead the dance (something he had done every game all year) and the he quit on his team mates. He didn't even try. Anyone remember what he said loudly several times after the game? |

he couldn't lead in Portland (he had an equally awful performance against Dallas in a Game 7), and he can't/hasn't lead here; but unless we can get a true quality functional big for him then Sheed has to stay. Who else on the team can man up on the Duncan's? |
