he couldn't lead in Portland (he had an equally awful performance against Dallas in a Game 7), and he can't/hasn't lead here; but unless we can get a true quality functional big for him then Sheed has to
stay. Who else on the team can man up on the Duncan's?
So you're advocating Artest as our leader?

Sheeds performance in the closeout game was abominible. He didn't lead the dance (something he had done every game all year) and the he quit on his team mates. He didn't even try. Anyone remember what he said loudly several times after the game?
What did he say after the game? Not being sarcastic, an actual question.

This is not true at all.

This:

Rasheed Wallace didn't have a lot to say afterward. Three times he walked to his locker and then walked away, only once uttering anything of substance.

"This is the end, man."

The end of what, Sheed?

Only time will tell.

I think people who want to make a big deal out of it do, people who don't, don't. It's a pretty ambiguous statement. I suspect it doesn't carry a whole lot of deep meaning, rather Sheed probably just wanted the reporters to shove off and let him brood about the loss.

Re: Tay on the trade market?

I think Tay needs a bigger role in the offense if he's going to play to his true potential.

The question is - can he deliver? Anytime he has an above average defender on him he is struggling in a big way.
