Lets not overlook the fact that Detroit (with Tayshaun) squandered a sizable lead by giving Turkoglu a free pass to the basket and failed to get a defensive board when it counted.

Hedo drove on Tay and layed it up uncontested, what? 10 straight times before "the block"?

Give us that many tries and I think all of us would have a good chance of blocking Hedo at least once.

I'm not sold. Other small forwards would have done a better job on the boards, or did a better job of limiting penetration, which Tayshaun is terrible at.

With a stronger and more athletic small forward it doesnt even come down to the last possession because the Pistons have a bigger lead than they had.

True, true and true. Sometimes they guy that makes the "Game-Saving" play, may be the very reason why the game is soooo close in the 1st place.

You can't touch anybody.
And quit picking on Tay.
Even if you're right.

Re: Tay on the trade market?

i think tay needs to go. i liek him a lot...but he made his name in the playoffs a few years ago...now he COMPLETELY disappears in the playoffs almost every year. EVERYBODY should be on the trading block, except for rip, dyess, maxiell, and stuckey. everybody else can get outta here, especially sheed.

Sounds like Ronnie wants out.

Kings' forward Ron Artest has continued to lament his decision to pass on the chance to become a free agent and is now hoping that he will be traded to a team more committed to him, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Here's a trade I like. Tay & Dice for Ron-Ron & Brad Miller. It toughens up our front court plus gives us a true center that can score in the post, rebounds very well, averages close to a block a game, and even hits a good percentage of 3's...great at the foul line too 85%.

I like this trade. But, I don't think they'd do it for Tay & Dice alone. I would like Ron-Ron to resign for about 11 million pre year if it did happen. Then sign Ricky Davis to a Two year deal w/ 2nd year team option.
Resign Hunter & ratliff to small one year deals.

Billups/Stuckey/Hunter
Rip/Afflalo
Ron-Ron/Davis/Sharpe
Sheed/Amir
Miller/Max/Samb/Ratliff

Looks like a championship team to me!
