Lets Play a Game: Your the GM on the Clock

Your on the clock as a GM and of all the players out there you like you have to decide on one and stick with it. The following players are for sure gone so lets hear whom you think would be best for this Pistons franchise.

With the 29th pick in the draft the Detroit Pistons GM selects_________?

You can change this right up to the draft.

I will go first: Detroit selects

I have yet to see any hint anywhere (other than from you, obviously) that Gist has even the slightest chance of going in the first round. Either you're a genius or way off base. He's been a late second rounder where I've looked (I think Chad Ford had him undrafted).

Can someone send an e-mail to Joe and ask him what he thinks? Start it something like... Joe, the clock is ticking, and the Pistons pick...
Buddahfan, where art though? He'd be the one to send an e-mail.

nbadraft.net has him going late second round.

Everywhere seems to have him around second round. Maybe he is making a last minute move up, but I doubt that far.

I have said everywhere I can that I am hoping (and there is a slight chance) that we draft Hibbert. I don't think our draft spot right now is where we end up drafting at.

It was a lot of work to coordinate it last year. Some people committed to it, but then backed out and it was a mad scramble to get volunteers to take their place at the last minute (Thanks again to all those that did help out).

Also, I never received any feedback when it was done, so I'm assuming it didn't go over all that well and wasn't really worth the effort.

Lastly, I believe (not sure) that the Pistons had two first rounders last season, which I think maybe generated more interest in the draft last season than it would this year.

I'm willing to participate if someone else wants to do it, but I'm not willing to organize it again.

Yeah, the two picks ended up being Stuckey and AA.
