For the most part thats what I expect Joe to do, small contracts for one year thats why I like Stoudemire and Bonzi. I would really like Hedu but I think he may be out of our price range.

I say the Pistons should go after Diop. He was very nice on the defensive end for the Mavs.

The problem is the $$$ he will likely command, beside I am sure it would take a long term commitment and I don't know if that is the best idea.

He can demand whatever he wants. However, the last couple of years have been failry tough on the mid to low tier free agents. So, I don't know about that.

Darko was a mid level FA just a year or two ago, and he got paid. Granted, I think he made some big strides last year with more consistant playing time, but I don't think he is worth $7mil per

There was an article recently that Dallas wanted Diop back and would offer their full MLE for him. Gotta think if Dallas wants him then they'll get him.

Maybe, Carlisle doesn't always get along so well with players (as we know) and that could scare him off, though Cuban does have a way of getting what he wants.
