| Potential Unrestricted Free Agents we should look at... So I was looking here at the list of free agents and was thinking to myself that there are quite a few free agents that could potentially improve our team and we wouldn't have to lose anyone. Here are a few that coaught my eye: Desagana Diop - obviously no Ben Wallace but defensively provides some of the same skills Dikembe Mutombo - see Diop, downside is you would have to limit his minutes (good replacement for Theo though) and he more than likely wants to stay on Houston Kurt Thomas - few are as tough as him, and he rebounds Bonzi Wells - dude can shoot, and we know Joe likes him Eduardo Najera - decent defender, tough guy, good depth behind Tay Damon Stoudamire - vet PG depth IF Chauncey is traded The one Restricted Free Agent I will throw in here ,because I think a sign and trade for him is very doable as Jersey wants expiring contracts to make a run at Bron-Bron ![]() |

| Re: Potential Unrestricted Free Agents we should look at... If we keep Tay then Najera makes a lot of sense as a backup. He'll beat the crap out of whoever he's out there against. The only other player on that list of interest is Diop and that's only at a very reasonable deal. Bonzi and Stoudemire are done. |
