Amen, and in todays NBA where you can get traded anywhere at anytime, you'd think you would show off your skills every chance you can, sounds like either he lets his agents and "boys" talk to him to much or he himself has alot of learning to do. probably best we don't have to worry about him.

Where else does a hot dog cost $5 or a beer $7-8? So yeah, it is easy to throw a million dollars around. I too can't wait for the summer league, because it will give DET a chance to win something.

Correct, and if that strip club started rolling out one legged 265 LB might be women claiming they just need " a little more seasoning "?

From that article.

Quote:
It turns out that the caller (CDR's friend) was right on the money. Douglas-Roberts believed that there was no way he would drop to #29 and likely felt like it was an insult to even believe that he would be available to play for a team like Detroit drafting that low. I talked to someone who knows CDR and he told me that Douglas-Roberts thought he was a top 20 lock.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Now he gets no contract guarantees and has to try and earn a spot in the summer league.

There was not a very good scouting report on this guy. lacks a lot of fundamentals and is a complete project. He could not even make an impact in college so going pro will be a stretch. Cheik Samb has a brighter future than this guy. Samb has a good attitude working for him.

I am not sure what type of chip the guys have on their shoulders when the reason they were selected is because they agreed that it wouldn't bother them to not make the team. Now that is a killer instinct.
I do not beleive Sharpe was one of the players that agreed to go to Europe. We'll see how it plays out.

We have heard that line before.

I guess it is no use complaining about it now. We will see what happens. I wish these draft picks the best and hope they come here and work hard.
Seems like alot of people are saying that Joe passed on a "sure thing" for a "sleeper".
