FC Barcelona has decided not to exercise its option on Alex Acker.

His season in Spain has been very disappointing

Statistics
37 games, 19 min.
7.8 points, 0.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 steals, 1 turnovers

Bad numbers for a player who had to be the star

Sincerely with this so irregular season I do not believe that he has future either in Detroit or in the NBA

Maybe not. But he'll be on Pistons summer league team with a chance to show something.

I hope that he takes advantage of his opportunity, because really I believe that he is a good player, but I have seen all his games and he must improve very much.

you concerned about our 15th man on the bench. lol. face it the guy got no game. lol the 77th pick of the 05 draft still gets mentioned.
Acker will never play in the association. We will save a bench spot for him, he will sit between fenis dembo and William Bedford.

Lets all never mention these names again, as they matter zero % : sammy meija, alex acker, will blaylock. If we have to worry about any of these guys at all, or even have to have a conversation about them, than the pistons are in more trouble than i thought.

meija had some good numbers in D-league. Too bad he hurt his ankle at the wrong time.

Dang! Why didn't the Pistons keep this guy? Then WE could have been the ones to fail to exercise his option after several disappointing seasons. Only we could have been paying him a few million to do so! Fire Joe D!

Ack had a bad knee at the start of the season. Did he get over it?

The regular season have 34 games and Acker didn't play the first 4 games due his physical problems.
In playoffs Barcelona lost in finals and Alex play all the games.

It's true that he was improving during the season and that his better games coincided with the playoffs, but in general his performance has been unsatisfactory.

Maybe they were using him wrong. Dude can get to the hoop.
