Right, a good person. Just like how those close to Sheed (like his wife) know where his heart is at when he shoves her on the the floor and restrains her from calling 911. Oh wait, Rasheed was the one getting mad because he couldn't take his wife on a Bermuda trip during the All-Star game. Funny, I keep getting those two mixed up.

Re: Will Michael Curry Advocate For Ron Artest

I use to be a fan of his even after the brawl; thought he was nuts to be honest but loved his game. The whole domestic violence incidents, and the thing with the dogs just really made me hate him.

I don't know if i could ever stomach rooting for him if he was on the Pistons.

Re: Will Michael Curry Advocate For Ron Artest

He can only play on the Pistons if he wears nut huggers. Anyone remember when he came out and yelled at the Pistons in their bus during the 04/05 season?

Anyone who thinks Ben is equally at fault is completely out of touch with reality.

It is the recollection of that incident that brings me to my senses when I even think about the idea of Artest becoming a Piston.

Do you have a link to a conviction by a jury of his peers or are you basing your "facts" on the provided link in which he is arrested on "suspicion"?

It is a nice attempt on your part to base your argument on actions that are indefensible, however, the premise is on unsteady ground to say the least until Ron is convicted of a crime.

There is a difference between being accused and convicted right?
I suppose you probably "keep getting those two mixed up" as well.

Ouch! OK, uncle uncle! Ya got me good!

OK, my point is, someone who keeps getting into the headlines for the wrong reasons and even in sit-down puff-piece-type interviews still makes it seem like he is a time bomb waiting to go off is not someone I want on my team. Whether he's guilty or not, he shows a history of extremely poor judgement, low levels of rational thought, and a basic disregard for other people. It is just my impression of him that he is TROUBLE.

Remember, this is the guy who seemed genuinely shocked when the Pacers didn't want him to take half a season off to work on his music. RonRon and reality don't often coexist in the same room.

Knows how to board when he wants to though.

That's completely understandable.

He pleaded 'no contest' and was sentenced for 100 hours of community service. Of all the things he was charged with, only 'corporal injury to spouse' was not dropped.
