to answer your question. no darko probably will not have that kind of game the pistons system isn't made for big stat games. the pistons are about winning.
I agree with you about Carmelo not scoring as much in the Pistons system, but giving Darko any kind of credit for that ring...I mean, seriously, Mike Abdenour and Arnie Kandor did more to earn their rings than Darko.

I'm just talking about potential. I know that Darko can't produce those numbers in the time that he has been given. But, my point is, that I'm not sure that he has the potential for a game like that.

And I don't think that it is far fetched to think that Carmello will get a ring in 10 years. Why wouldn't he?

I'd like to see Darko get a chance to play too. I was all pumped up after the pre-season, and I think that they should have tried to keep that momentum going with him. That would benefit the Pistons toward the end of the season.

i disagree that he can produce those type of numbers. he's a big man that can shoot free throws. he has almost 3 point range. i don't see why he couldn't have a 40 point game. if he was on a team that constantly fed him with him being the # 1 option to score why not??

you can build around a shot blocking, play within the offense, 7 footer. it's much harder to build around a 25 shot taking forward that barely plays d. carmello's low shot attempt game to put up that 42 points isn't the norm for him.

carmello is selfish to me. i don't see him winning a championship until he's an old vet riding a young teams bench.

i didn't say darko brought us a championship. i said darko has a championship ring. ask mello if he would rather have a great game or a championship ring. if mello was here he would have been sitting on our bench wearing a ring also. remember lb sat him in the olympics.

melo is much better than darko, darko sucks. we have enough big men and melo could of helped tay get rest, and he would fit much better on this team,. don't say anything about his attitude because darko isn't doing any better in that category. all he can do is block and that's only because he's 7 feet tall.

Carmelo is kind of a jerk, yeah. But I think maybe Carmelo is a lot happier being a young star on a team with no ring than Darko is happy with a ring he didn't earn (not saying whether or not it was his fault) and known as "the human victory cigar".

melo would have sat under lb just like he sat him in the olympics. tay would still have got the majority of the playing time. we also couldn't have afforded tay and melo at the same time. our bigs were under contract and are getting up there in age. tay will be playing with us for years. how many years would melo have been happy coming off the bench??

i think melo would have demanded a trade by now and sat out of camp. if he was treated the way darko has been treated. you need to watch the games closer if you think all darko can do is block shots. that's what he led the preseason nba in but he can do other things well too.

he doesn't rebound, and all he does on offense is set picks. i always watch him closely because i want to see him do good, but i just don't think he'll ever be as good as people say.

lmao

He did originally. But this is the edited version. I think he remembered a "brick" has to catch a piece of the rim or backboard. Dropped balls, balls dribbled off your leg, and airballs aren't classified as "bricks"
