Lindsey Hunter, too, has been contemplating retirement. Initially, he was expected to return as a member of Michael Curry's coaching staff. That didn't happen.

Now, Hunter is considering the possibility of playing one more season.

I'd say that if the core stays intact, Joe did NOT get what he wanted out of them in value.

I`d say if the core stays intact we are in for a very dissapointing season, again.

Re: Dumars Not Looking For Free Agents

That article was depressing. Trying to read between the lines:

1. Joe is blaming everything on the bench again, not bothering to resign anyone except the aged (see #2).
2. Joe still believes in playing old fading vets
3. Joe thinks some team is going to give him a superstar like Memphis did to LA.
4. We'll probably sign a bunch of guys off of waivers again.

In a height challenged league. Or the talent to go along with it.

If that happened it would be very dissapointing. But the main FA and thus trade period begins tomorrow on July 1.

I'd like to see us get Brand and / or Maggette for the right price. The Clippers need a point guard so give them Billups. That is unless BDavis and Arenas milk them first.

Re: Dumars Not Looking For Free Agents

Brand opted out!

Yes.

Joe, at least bring him in and see if he wants to play for us. If he does, then gravy. But if he doesn't show him the door and find another Walter Sharpe.

He played just 8 games last season after an Achilles tendon rupture, make him see that. Here he has a chance to win.

Damn, Sheed and Brand on the frontline are giving me championship visions.
