Curry is gonna go with a defense we played previously. More "man to man" that isn't really man to man because of the help defense . We need that big shot blocker/defender in the middle to prevent all of the easy shots. IMO perimeter D is overrated because perimeter shooting is so hit and miss, the key is stopping those easy shots (layups,etc.). |
But keeping ppl out of the paint IS perimeter defense. If you allow people in the paint at will it doesn't matter what big you have.

Joe is seriously testing my patience right now. After waiting 3 years for Flip to be fired, and now the lack of any signal that we are giving an offer sheet to anybody of importance is beyond irritating.
