Question What's the MOST JD will spend on a FA ?

Usually he spends $1.5M on a scrub.
I've heard he has as much as $11M this year to divvy up.
But maybe only $8M including the MLE.
I think this should include current roster re-signings.

Re: What's the MOST JD will spend on a FA ?

we look to be close to the cap with the 10 players under contract atm for next year. Detroit-Pistons Player Salaries | Detroit-Pistons Salaries List | 2008 Detroit-Pistons Team Salary
shows us at 53.8 million and that doesn't show mcdyss's contract. this year was 55 something so should be a bit higher? this year but not that much that we have any room besides exceptions

Didn't we give Mcdyss the full MLE? Billiups would be our other big FA pickup... big money doesn't always mean big results... look at new york.

The summer is young.... you can't even sign folks for another 8 days, i'll wait and see how things go before jumping off the highest building i can find... 3 stories around here... lol

Our forum salary numbers are not up to date, but they are official CBA #s as released by SI two years ago. The hoopshype #s are bogus.

Is this salary cap something Joe wears when he negotiates with the players?
