Walter Sharpe - Not Top 50

David Thorpe the ESPN.com "rookie" guy has come out with his Top 50 rookies for 2009. Our own Walter Sharpe is not even on the list even though he was drafter #32. He was beat out by such "ballers" as Patrick Ewing Jr. and Sasha Kaun. Hopefully, he proves people wrong. The problem is this guy trains young players for a living, lives in the South, and hasn't seen enough from Sharpe to give him Top 50 props.

i wouldn't put much weight in the ratings.... heck his final ratings of last year had stuckey at number 10 and most had him close to a top 5 pick if the draft was redone.

we'll start to see what we have come this weekend, i'll take currey/dumars views with alot more salt then this clown's

Re: Walter Sharpe - Not Top 50

I agree. Just lets you know what a sleeper pick this was. A pick I liked by the way. CDR did post up 15 points on 50% shooting his first Summer League game. Think he has something to prove now?
