Carlos Delfino

Pistons consider a Carlos Delfino return | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press

Former Piston Carlos Delfino is among the free agents the team is considering signing. Tomorrow is the first day NBA free agents can sign contracts, although they can agree to deals earlier.

Re: Carlos Delfino

Not a guy I pictured in the Pistons future, but Delfino would be an upgrade over Jarvis. Decent D, decent jumper, decent ball-handling, and a willingness to take it to the hole (ala Giant Turd). Think he'd wanna come back after Joe flushed him?

Re: Carlos Delfino

Don't want him back. He was traded to free up cap space and now the scuttlebutt is that the Pistons are looking to bringing him back? Make up your mind Joe.

Re: Carlos Delfino

I just don't see Fino coming back to Detroit with the current line-up in place. He asked for a trade the first time because he wanted more playing time (he averaged 16 minutes per game). So unless Joe Dumars has a trade up his sleeve somewhere I just think Delfino will sign with the Spurs who are definitely interested in him.

I love me some Carlos and I would love to have him back but he wants a 3 year contract and he doesn't want to be a bench jockey. The Pistons have Walter Herrmann to back up Tay and Affalo to back-up Rip so they are in pretty good shape right now and why are they even trying to sign a swingman?

Re: Carlos Delfino

Adding Delfino doesn't help us beat Boston.
