Laugh if you want, but I'm hoping this will pan out. I just went through his 07-08 gamelog, and when he gets mins he produces. He's able to put about 7-10 pts on the board in 12-15 mins of action even if he only gets 4-5 shots per game, he always shoots 50%+ when he gets at least 12mpg and 6 shots. Very efficient with his time on the floor.

Normally I'd hate getting another teams leftover scrub, but with Sloan, Pop, and LB those mean SOB's have been known to Doghouse legitimate talent for no good reason at all.

POP and Brown for no good reason? how about championships? that is a good reason. No one asks POP who to play and who not to play because he got SA 3 champtionships in the last what? 10 years? No body questioned LB who to play and who to sit in 2004 simply because he got us a championship and was close to get us a second one in 2005

Actually, a lot of people whined about who to play in 2004. Some people are still whining about who LB should have been playing that year, even though we won the championship!

I'd be most pleased with signing Miles. He's sort of like Utah's version of Amir. He's going to be tough to get out of Utah's hands, though. We might have to overpay.

If we give him an offer, how long do the Jazz have to match? The whole summer?

I think you get a week to match when your restricted FA signs an offer sheet.

Re: Pistons Close to Offering Offer Sheet For CJ Miles

Ya a week is right and if we do offer C.J a contract it will have to be a one that Utah won't match.

Utah fans reckon he's worth about $12-14mil for 4 years.

YouTube - CJ Miles Mix - for those like me who haven't seen him play...

YouTube - CJ Miles dunk on Amare Stoudemire

Looks a little like Morris Peterson with the left handed deliveries.
