Reserve forward Hayes to sign with Nets - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Hayes to sign with Nets for 2 years at about $2 mil per. Good riddance.

I don't remember hearing about the ability to defend the perimeter. Were we biased by the vocal fans screaming about his lack of defense, or is this guy off-base?
