| Re: Vegas anyone???? Recap by Player:
Stuckey: Best player on the court and shouldn't even be there really. Could get to the rim at will and hit a few jumpers.
AA: Started off aggresive on offesne, knocking down a few jumoer sut to 20 feet. Seemed much more comfortable on offense. good defense ll around.
Samb: This guy ids not even close to 215 as stated. He looks a lot bigger and although could add a few more pounds is definitely big enough to hold the paint against most NBA centers. Showed good activity around the basket and missed a few open jumpers. Showed a decent hook shot coming across the lane that should be unblockable. He missed it a bunch, but was rushing it a little. His defense was not as good as advertised (didn't block a shot) although they didn't post his guy up ever.
Sharpe: A project. Much more comfortable as a post player both offensively and defensively. Had trouble staying in front of his man and guarding quick wing players. Good athleticism. Small - I thought he was suppose to be 245? Maybe 215/220. Very active though and has a place in the league if he works hard.
Amir Johnson: Struggle city. I don't know if he was trying to do too much, but he reminded me of those guys in pick-up who are all over the place hounding the ball. This is good to an extent, but it was overboard, thus all the fouls. Had some good activity around the basket and the P & R with Stuckey yielded some points. Hopefully he settles down, but he showed me why coaches have been reluctant to play him. No post play whatsoever.
Alexander: Stood around and watched when on the court. Needs to go to Europe / D-league.
Plaisted: Serviceable in the Brian Scalabrine with better skills way.
Will Bynum: I really liked his play. Great ball hander and had some great passes. Quick and can read the defense. I thought he was the closest to a pure PG I have seen in awhile. |
