Biedrin's free throw percentage has improved the past few seasons (along with the rest of his game). He shot 62% from the line last season, which is exactly what McDyess shot last year. Ben never got above 49% in any season.

Of course he's 22... Might be a little room for improvement there.

And he runs the floor very well, wants to play with his back to the basket, is pretty skilled from there, and doesn't seem to be a bad defensive player - all of which would make him a very nice fit with Sheed.

I like both those guys, but CB alone probably wouldn't get it done.
They are restricted FA's. So the Warriors can match any deal made to them.

He is perfect in that system. There is no way in hell, i repeat no way in hell the Warriors will trade us Biedrens.

Biedrins was on the bench a lot the second half of the season last year in favor of a smaller line up that could run the floor. He also was not in the starting line up a lot last season.

I am beginning to think that you might believe that CB can't run and up down the floor for more than about two possessions in a row, and might not be the best fit for the Nellie's offense.

His form was reminiscent of Bo Outlaw's early in his career. So maybe that statistical progress isn't just a fluke.

From what i understand management adores Biedrins, and considers him untouchable. I guess it could end up being a power-play, but do you really see Nelson coaching that team long-term ?

He definitely isn't, but i could care less if we are on the better side of the deal. I'm not really sure GS has anything of value though. The two players i like are Ellis (who might be too much a Stuckey duplicate), and Biedrens who i believe is up for an extension and not worth the money he will command although i'd still take him.

Magette is overpaid. Jackson is a chucker. Barnes is a 3rd tier level player. Their draft pick would be appealing but not alone . . .
