Sheed >>>> Camby

so i don't care too much about this.
I believe if both teams are under the soft cap then they do not have to match salaries. In our case we would have had to match within 20% or whatever it is.

Wow, I really wanted Camby on the Pistons :-( To see him go so cheaply, is almost criminal.

Re: Camby to the Clips for...nothing

Uggghhh, when teams like the Clippers get someone like Camby, who is as productive as anybody I'd like as center for the Pistons, get him for a 2nd round pick, discouraging is the closest to describe it.

I would have given up a 1st rounder.

Or maybe not.

Sheed is not a center. He is a PF playing the center position.

Joe, Joe, Joe...

You gotta think, if Denver was willing to give him away for free popcorn, he'd have found a way to do it.

Waiting in vain.........

You don't just give away a productive player, do you? There must be another shoe waiting to fall. Perhaps we're going to be a part of it.

Could be just part of a bigger plan which required clearing the landscape a bit before complete unveiling of the master plan.

Maybe Sheed will be taking Camby's spot in their line up. That gives them more points from the position and salary releif in the end.

Sheed for Melo straight up now!

Samb/McDyess will start as the Center.

I can't believe Clippers managed to do that.

Re: Camby to the Clips for...nothing

Maybe we could have traded them Mcdyess for Camby straight up? We would have used our midlevel up to upgrade to Camby, but we'd still be in position to trade for possibly McGrady and have Wallace and Camby up front...

Camby is going to be 35. I doubt that he could make that big a difference for us unless another key player is coming.

Re: Camby to the Clips for...nothing

Must be nice to have room under the cap and get serious players for nothing. I suppose there should be some benefit for losing two top free agents though.

Denver must really believe Nene can come back and play a lot or they're going to look pretty silly.
