| Re: Josh Smith Will Be A Piston, (in my opinion) I dunno, I think Max's productivity goes down when you play him more than 20/22mpg, that's why I think he's a 6th man. Same could be said for Dyess, he's much more efficient playing 20/24 mpg off the bench. It's hard for me to imagine that Max could be a Brahma for 30+mpg playing 82 games plus playoffs, but I could be wrong. |

| Re: Josh Smith Will Be A Piston, (in my opinion) I like the sound of that. Although looking through Max's gamelog, he's a very poor defensive rebounder and he hit a major wall in Dec/Jan/Feb, he started to come around again towards the end of Feb going into march. |

About Biedrens i posted this in another thread regarding the MLE That would make my life LOL,but it's highly unlikely. GS can offer him way more, and possibly ? has his bird right. Add Prince for Smith and i think i might just die of happiness. On the flip side if it's Amir Johnson, AA, and Prince, i will question Joe's sanity. |

| Re: Josh Smith Will Be A Piston, (in my opinion) just to play devils's advocate here... what is the deal with him and woodson, most the board has been pro woodson as long as i can remember, and some thought he should be interviewed for our coaching job. is smith a trouble child that might just think he's better then he is, and will ruin what dumars has built in chemistry here? I for one would like to know more about what his beef's are down there, theres alot more to building a team then bringing in talent, its go to fit. |

Honestly, i'm curious too, but all his teammates love him/want him back. i do remember JJ criticizing him for being immature at one point. It was kind of a general statement which was obviously directed at him, but he's gone on record since then saying getting Josh back is essential to the team (maybe he's thinking from a talent standpoint ?) If i had to guess, I'd think maybe Woodson wants to play more structured and gets mad b/c Smith has the tendency to be "wild" at times on offense. I don't know, if that is the case might be solved on a team full of veterans ? |

On Biedrins. From what I understand GS is committing salary in other areas and Joe thinks he has a chance to steal him. I am sure we will hear more of this soon. |

| Re: Josh Smith Will Be A Piston, (in my opinion) Nice--Lakers didn't match turiaf's offer----doesn't mean much, but makes it slightly more likely that dumars will be able to steal Biedrens now that Turiaf will be a Warrior. Turiaf is no starter, but still---might help |

| Re: Josh Smith Will Be A Piston, (in my opinion) With D.Williams and C.Paul signing big time deals, I'm sure that has now set the bargaining bar to retain the services of Monta Ellis. I'm sure Ellis and his people feel he is just as talented as Paul and Williams. Golden State will have to commit to the Lux Tax long term in order to keep Bierdrins because Maggs, Ellis & Turiaf all have rather long deals. |
