That will never be seen unless they allow 12 fouls/game.

Kwame has gotten his 30 points. He's gotten his 19 rebounds. He's had good games as well. Before he started stringing together too many years in a row of failing to reach his "potential" fans looked at him the same way they do Amir.

Change the context and make Kwame a second round pick (or make Amir a lottery pick) and they would resemble each other even moreso.

My apologies if I offend anyone here but the more I watch Amir the more he reminds me of Kwame Brown.
Lets see should I trust Joe and others who know basketball or an idiot poster? Kwame Brown get out of here with that weak sauce.

I'm thinking there are nicer ways to make your point.

We could see a trade, or maybe we won't.

The team right now is a questionable thing.

We have starters who have been publicly declared to be on the trading block and a questionable bench. Let's look at them:

The starting five are the most consistent thing we have on the team. Still good enough to get in the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference. Good enough to win? Definitely. But will they want to win is an entirely different thing.

This year, at this point of summer league, our bench is a questionable commodity. Yes, you can argue the fact that we have Stuckey, Afflalo, JMax. But I don't really feel that comfortable handing them the keys to the whole team just yet. Stuckey does not have a full season under his belt yet, but he is good. JMax, I feel will just be a career bench player, but his caffeine rush can only sustain the team for so long. Amir, has seemed more lost this summer league than good. Afflalo, is the next sure thing to Stuckey but he too has to get his game legs. After that who do we have?

Plaisted? Overseas. Washington? Overseas. Sharpe? Sleeper (but most likely will hardly see time). Last year we had Arvis, Hermann, Ratliff with Hunter to buff up the bench who we know had already some sense of their roles in the NBA.

I don't know about a trade. I'm all for it if it makes the team better. And I'd like it done before training camps start. It will all be better for the chemistry.

Amir's play this summer has definitely tempered my expectations of him. I now think he'll only average 27-29 ppg with maybe 17-18 rebounds per. That's still all right, I guess.

We should get Kwame Brown to work out with him during the season. It's not like he's doing anything else

This thread has unintentionally made me hungry.

I am not so sure if the Pistons will be good enough for another ECF as it stands now. The East is getting better. We don't have enough size in the frontcourt and Sheed/Dyess will be 1 year older. Is Samb really going to make any kind of an impact? Will Amir really play?

I wish we knew if Amir was another Kwame or something better. Thats the thing, that was supposed to be determined last year.

Wow, I go to sleep and you people get up to all sorts of shenanigans!

Brother Dlev, it's early yet. Joe might not make a move, but I would hesitate to call it, with so much time left on the clock.
