Stuckey: Chauncey is still a Piston

On speculation that Pistons guard Chauncey Billups could be traded this offseason, teammate Rodney Stuckey said, "I don't pay attention to it. As far as I know, Chauncey is still a Piston. That's our point guard right now. Whatever happens, happens. But as of right now, he's still a Piston."

Funny that it came from Boston, but Stuckey is supporting his teammate. That's good to see. Not like I would expect him to through Chauncey under the bus.

for many fans here stuckey is traitor of pistons - his role should be to help to send "cancer" away, but no!, he supports billups instead!

It is not easy to be pistons fan - when this team did what we, fans wanted?

I like it. Its hard for Stuckey because Billups his taking away his assists, but he still sticks by him. Cassy.

Very nice response by Stuck. I really like the part, "whatever happens happens" In other words, if he leaves I am ready to lead this team, as of now, it`s his team...........

Then under his breath, but it won`t be for long............!!!

To me, no matter happens to CB, he is still a piston and i will always be a big fan of him. Same as Big Ben, I am still a big fan of Big Ben and i watch the CAVS now to watch BW play. Although i hate the CAVS. No one can deny what this core did and the joy they gave us over the last 7 years or so.

ROTFL

Seriously though, looking at Team USA is so parallel to what we're going through here it's not even funny. Last year in the FIBA tourney Kidd was clearly the best PG. You could easily see the drop off when he left the court, Billups couldn't run the offense as well, D,Williams looked confused and CP3 was out w/injury.

This year, No Billups, and DWill and CP3 are making JKidd look like an old man. See folk want to keep Billups, but in this game you can lose a step overnight, This new generation of PG's is FIERCE, Parker, Rondo, Calderon, Williams, Paul, and that kid in Port - Bayless is going to be something to watch. Turn over the keys to Stuckey because there is no way Billups can keep up with these young'ns now.

Does anyone out there believe that Billups' trade value will be any higher than what it is right now??? By next summer teams won't want him or the 2 years left on his contract. Right now I'd trade him and Amir (or Dyess) for Jamaal Crawford and David Lee.

He never says he wants him there. He just states the facts.
