It's not fast and simple to explain. A proxy is a server that you can go through as an intermediary and thus your traffic to a website looks like it is coming from somewhere else.

So if your work blocks social networks or other sites, you can sometimes view them through a proxy site. If you google "unblock myspace" you will turn up lots of web proxies.

I voted once from work and once from home Jmax is now up 729-603. Looks like a hotly contested battle cuz none of the other pairings have more than 800 votes total.

I know, it's crazy in there. I posted on a Lakers forum to round up some anti-Celtics votes, some of those guys are helping us out. They are loving the Mark Madsen vs. Ronny Turiaf matchup.
