Looks pretty good, and now with NBA 2k9 changing the roster often to make it more like it currently will be with the NBA at that time. I expect Stuckey/Afflalo/Amir to be higher and McDyess to go lower. Maybe Kwame might crack 70.

To be honest, I really hate NBA 2K....all of them. Their defense sucks, they have stupid ratings on players especially looking at those grades they gave to all the Pistons players. I understand you have to realistic when it comes to stats you make a game but come on those grades suck!!! I would never ever buy one of those NBA 2k games again. I just stick to NBA Live.

I like the 2k series (but the last NBA Live I played was the '99 version; I don't like the EA series since most of the games of it suck) because it's the best available. But 2k8 sucked, you could dunk from almost everywhere, players still make stupid wide passes if you don't really take care they don't and it's almost impossible to defend 1 - on - 1 by yourself, you always have to let the CPU do it. Plus, you never knew if a layup or a jumpshot from right under the basket would go in, even if the player was all alone.
Plus, the ratings are bad, as I can see- have they changed from points to grades? And where is a rating for shot blocking?
And looks like CB is kinda overrated, Sheed's D underrated and the Pistons are a bad team to play with since they have no penetrating player who finishes strong. The bigs are almost useless in the O in this game.

Some people I know said "NBA Live 08 was too fake", which I disagree with. I'm considering buying NBA 09 for PC. But yeah, I'm not feeling this roster either hopefully with the new roster stat update they promise it will be more realistic.

Also, you can play Walter Sharpe and not worry he will take a nap.

I'm not buying these as the ratings that will come in the game. The move to a grade system for ratings is backwards. Stuckey went from a 75 in 2k8 to a 74 in 2k9? I would like to close this reply by saying that, according to these ratings, Chauncey is more athletic than Stuck. That is all.

Rodney Stuckey = completely and utterly disrespected.

He was a 77 in last years roster update, and after the playoffs he needs to be at least 80. Instead, hes a 74.
