| Re: Amir will start at PF Through 3 games this year, Amir has picked up right where he left off last year in the complicated stats. He's leading the team in Roland Rating. He's our top on/off +/- player by a mile. He has the best defensive on court rating, allowing about 90 points per 100 possessions when he's on the court. Nobody else on the team is under 100 and most are in the 110 range. We foul at the same rate with him on the court as we do when he's off. He's shooting 55% from the floor. We are getting 40% of the offensive rebounds when he's present. Ben Wallace 2.0 baby!

![]() Honestly, it's interesting to see how much effort they put into analysis. I always thought good coaches do that by impressions and don't need any numbers and possesion analysis and so on. But who cares, as long as he succeeds... |

| Re: Amir will start at PF Lots of ticky tack rookie calls so far. Most are from helping out, getting too frisky when harrassing the other team's guards, trying to get jump balls, etc. Not many where he's getting baited into fouling by his defender that result in immediate free throws. So, I expect the refs to give him a little more respect the 2nd time they see him and I would hope that Amir continues to adjust by figuring out which are good gambles and which are sucker bets. In last night's game, Sheed showed how a smart big man guards players like Bosh and O'Neal. Bosh still scored on him a few times, but Sheed wasn't falling for anything. He was solid as a rock and seemed to anticipate the offensive moves before they happened. Good instincts, scouting, experience, and discipline. He must be teaching Amir behind the scenes one would hope.
