I like that. I also like the fact that it seems like Walter will get his deserved minutes off the bench at the 3 slot. He's going to reward the team with hustling and some treys and I'm sure he's better than Jarvis, Mo Evans and all the others we've seen during the last years except for Fino who never was and never will be a small forward.

Re: Amir will start at PF

I'm thrilled Amir will start. Not just because it's time to see what's he's got, but in spite of the fouling I just really enjoy watching him play. In my fifth year of NBA fandom, I've gotten much more discriminating about the kind of player I like to watch. More Amir = much more Pistons enthusiasm from me.

And after all the false representations that were made last year, ill intent or not (probably not) the kid deserves his shot.

This is an aesthetic issue, and I know most of us on this forum just want to win and could careless about something like this. But I love to watch Amir, because he is so graceful. Yeah I know about all those fouls, but still...there is something about his movement that is so...graceful. I can't take my eyes off him out there, because I'm trying to figure out what the quality of movement is. Kevin Durant has a little of this quality too. Maybe it's just very natural athleticism without a lot of wasted inefficient motion. Anyway, I love watching Amir because of it.

Now the fouls...they don't seem to go along with that but Durant gets a lot too I think.

Go Amir!

Let us see if these changes would bring the crowd back to what it was in 2004 - 2005 seasons. I hate the fact that there are many empty seats and the crowd is quiet even in critical games.

Well, that was not the case yesterday when the Shock played in the Arena. Congratulations for the Shock

Detroit has been #1 or #2 in attendance since 2003

ESPN - NBA Attendance - National Basketball Association

I don't want to go to the sell out debate. you could see many empty places and the arena is annouced sellout.

But the crowd is not as loud as it used to be.

Other teams do better % wise but their stadiums aren't as big.

I thought we had the longest recent streak of consecutive sellouts.

Do we not?

What's a sellout ?
Live attendance
Corporate buyouts
Total sales
% of sales that equal "sellout for TV"
