I caught that yesterday. That is outstanding. Curry couldn't do a better job of convincing me if he read from a script tailored to my wants.

No doubt. It's unnerving.

I really believe Curry reads this forum. He probably has it connected to his phone, and gets updates every time there's a new post, and an urgent beep every time the post is about Amir. Or maybe that's what Joe D's been doing on his blackberry

edited to add;
Amir article w/ some Sheed quotes
True Blue Pistons

He sits on the bench while he coaches so that he can get constant input from his "assistants". I think that what is going on is that all of those guys are connected to the internet and they just translate our posts into real time suggestions for MC.

As a test, we should recommend starting Samb at PG next game.

I think he stays so close to the bench so they can hit Lee's playing time guidelines.

This is a good idea.

And just to be sure we can ask Lee if he'll put that in the guidelines.

Re: Amir will start at PF

Coaches may read forums in the off-season to kill time but I highly doubt they would during the season. Palace staff may though to get a read on what the fans are thinking.

Numbers aside, Amir settling in as starter
Quote:
“I say this all the time,” Curry said after Wednesday’s win over Milwaukee. “Throw his stat line out the window. If you saw the intensity with which he plays and the speed and the athletic ability he brings to that starting unit … we’ve just got to work with the rest of our guys in the starting unit so they can pick u the pace just a little bit more as well.”
WOW!! A coach with a clue, who knew.
Quote:
Before the game, Curry said he and his staff break down every possession and give each player a plus or a minus. And, so far, Johnson is passing that test with flying colors.
You mean people actually do that, other than Lee??

Quote:
“We haven’t posted the offensive grades yet,” Curry said, “but defensive grades, he usually scores really well. He usually shadows the ball, he usually follows the game plan. The problem he’s had is sometimes he gets caught up under the basket and doesn’t box (out) and get the guy out of the paint. He contests shots, he’s in help position – he’s always helping. Those are the key areas that you grade out at and if you do each one you’re supposed to do each possession, you get a plus on that possession.”
Seriously, Lee I hope you're invoicing them for this.
