The Pistons just released a statement on guard Rodney Stuckey, who left Sunday night's loss to Boston after complaining of dizziness near the end of the first half.

This is the full text of the Pistons' release. We will be tracking the story throughout the day:

Detroit Pistons' guard Rodney Stuckey did not travel with the team to Sacramento today. He remained in Detroit for precautionary, follow-up testing after experiencing symptoms of light-headed and dizziness in Sunday night's game versus Boston. He is listed as day-to-day.

I am sure he will probably show up by Thursday's game at the Warriors unless they discover something else.

Hopefully MC gives both Will.I.Am and Alf more PT and not play RIP and AI over 40 mins each...

Re: Rodney Stuckey stays behind as Pistons head West

They said he was beating his chest rapidly with his hand. Must have been some sort of heart arythmia.

I saw an article that said that it was a reaction to allergy medication.

I'm glad I read that, because I had a similar reaction a couple years ago when I was taking 2 claratins per day (didn't know that 1 lasted 24 hours). After having an irregular heartbeat for a few days, I made the connection and realized that was a common side effect.

If Stuck had a real heart issue, I'm confident that they would have noticed it before now. Let's hope anyway.

It's good that they're taking these precautions with him. I hope he's healthy, for his life, not for basketball.

Hopefully he'll be Ok. In the meantime AI is going to get all the GT he can handle (and so will AA hopefully)

It seems like it would be harder to write with all the numbers.

They are actually very similar players in a lot of ways. Ability to get to the rim, hops, strong upper bodies allow them to finish well, OK jumpers from FT line extended, limited shooting range beyond that, lots of experience prior to the Pistons w/out NBA experience (maturity).

Bynum should get a nice chunk of PT next game.
