Hamilton looks for his rhythm

Quote:
"Rip's fine, it's just a transition for him," Curry said. "Rip's been the leading scorer for this team since he's been here. He's still finding his way. He's getting shots in different ways than he got them before. He's getting quality shots, just not the same shots in the same spots or in the same rhythm he got them before."
Curry pointed out that Hamilton struggled early last season when Antonio McDyess, a fifth scoring option, was inserted into the starting lineup.
"Rip is going through what me and 'Sheed (Rasheed Wallace) are going through," Tayshaun Prince said. "When you play with somebody for so long, it's a transition period for all of us. I think what we have to understand is, scoring is going to come from different spots now. You got to be ready for it."
Prince has played brilliantly since the trade. He's thriving in the point-forward role. Wallace, after being out of sync for two games, has found his rhythm with Iverson as well, scoring 44 points the last two games.
"One thing we have to do better is to keep running Rip off screens and continue to get him shots he likes to get him going," Prince said. "I kind of put that on myself. I've been here. I've played with Rip the longest. And by me running that point position, I know what he likes. I can do a better job of helping him out."
Just as nobody around the team doubted Hamilton would struggle most to adjust, nobody doubts that he will eventually get cooking.
"He's a guy that once he gets into his rhythm, he stays in his most of the season," Curry said.

Rip looked good last game, but on the flip side AI looked awful. I hope they can both get going, preferably at the same time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Rip already signed the contract extension.

Pistons guard Richard Hamilton, who recently signed a three-year contract extension, was upset over the trade of Chauncey Billups. - Cleveland.com

Re: Hamilton looks for his rhythm

I clearly heard the contract was not done, there was stuff to be worked out, and if Rip had signed an extension, why has this not been reflected by the NBA transaction wire?

They may have agreed to a contract, but I do not believe a contract was signed. Someone call NBA HQ in NY and check this out.

In fact, lpgrl, that's your turf. Can you go down and talk to Bilbo Stern for us?

Rip Looking For A Trade.

THIS AI trade has made crazy to some extent. We're really to trade about just about anyone now.

No more best starter lineup talk anymore.

I don't buy it.

Why is Rip looking for a trade? Because Billups is gone? So does that mean that he'd only want a trade to Denver?

I can understand him being sad, disappointed, hurt, even angry. But to ask for a trade because of it? I don't buy it.

Re: Hamilton looks for his rhythm

I think he should be traded simply because we have two starters playing essentially the same position, struggling to fit.

WHAT!!!???

I must be late because I haven`t heard this.

Rip has not signed an extension yet??

Well, there it is. If Rip is truly is unhappy as we all think he is Joe D may very well be shopping him not to mention his play is suffering.

You would think CB and Rip were joined at the hip and CB was surgically removed and sent away.

Get over it Rip and play ball!!!
