I know things aren't going so well up there. I know you're kinda pissed at management, and I am, too.
They persuaded you to sign that extension and traded me a day after, that was underhanded for sure. I know you didn't want the deal to go down, and I gotta admit, even though I loved the idea of going home, it did kinda smart.
We've gotta put that behind us now. The deal is done, I'm not coming back.

I know you aren't all that fond of this Iverson guy. I know you run off the same screens and the ball just doesn't appear in your hands anymore.
It must be a hard adjustment (not like mine, thankfully), but you gotta be the man now.
I know injuries and stuff have gotten in the way this year, and none of us are getting younger. I think you know yourself you aren't having a great year, but you can. We've all seen it before.
You're the best catch-and-shoot player of the decade, you were a deadly scorer, teams shook when they saw you strapping on that mask.
What's going on with that beard, by the way?
I know you've been in the papers a lot. With Coach Curry dodging questions about who will be coming off the bench, dont you miss Coach Brown?

You did the right thing Rip, you came off the bench.
I know. It's a big deal for you, its been seven years since you had to do that, but its the right thing to do. You know the young Stuckey kid is a great scorer, besides, you are going to light up all those secondary defences anyways.
You have to be the leader for the Pistons now. You gotta fill my spot, you've gotta let this Iverson guy become part of the team.
The Cavs? Boston? Orlando?

You think it's all fun and games don't you? Well it aint, this is my career. And right now it's lipping off the rim.
....The deal with the trade went down like this: JD said we both were going to Den. And the numbers needed to be right ,so of course I signed. Bang ! Then the truth came out. Hey, you don't double cross some one from D.C. I know people in High Places and things fall hard when they're told to drop stuff. JD will see !
....I know you want me to be the man now in Det., but it aint happenin' Chaunc.
Stuck is the man. And I hope to help him just like I helped you. I'm a team player that needs a team. None of this 1 man show AI stuff. You know that's a road to nowhere.
....We've been trying to get AI into the the whole Detroit Basketball mantra but you can't teach an old dog new tricks. He just doesn't have Piston DNA. He's more Suns, Laker DNA.
....As for Curry, I don't know. Right when you think he gets it, you realize, he don't get it. He's like a child in a candy store. I want this, I want that. Until he let's Stuck be the man, it's sad times here. I could've sworn, looking a us play in our blue unis the color turned teal. I thought I was trippin', having a flash back. Then I wiped the tears away and realized how bad it has gotten. Chaunc you gotta get me out of here. Put in a good word for me with management and see if you can get me over there. It could be like old times. I mean it Chaunc, the ball just doesn't feel right when it doesn't come form you. Let's do this. Get back to me soon.

Dear, Billups & RIP

How does it feel Billups , knowing that a young stud like me caused you to get traded...sucks doesn't it? (not for me) And RIP dear friend, I'm sorry you had to go to the bench because of that ball-hogging, cornrow having midget! But you have to get it together man! We are falling apart, we are losing to teams like the Pacers & Bobcats!?!?!?! Billups, I miss you man you helped me be a leader just like you, sadly you can't have two leaders on the same team! And, Curry, if your looking through my mail again I'm calling the cops!
