Since I have some free time on my hands, I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a draft.

Everyone is assigned a team to draft for and it works like a fantasy draft, except you build a team that you think could win in real life. Every player is thrown into the player pool. 5 starters and 1 or 2 bench players.

I'm looking for either 6 or 10 owners to do this - each owner will take 3 or 5 teams each, depending on who is interested. I like less people because the seperation in between picks are shorter, which keeps people interested and the draft moving faster.

I'm doing this in another forum and it is very fun/interesting and leads to a lot of debate. I figure to determine a winner we could place all teams in a playoff and vote on which team would win each individual matchup...unless anyone has a better idea. Just something to pass the time of a bad Piston's season!

Yeah. It's not just gunna be a one day thing. It'll be a draft that continues in the forum until it is finished. I would ask that people check in at bare minimum once a day. (In hindsight probably should have put this thread in the NBA general discussion forum sorry)

You'll probably have no problem finding 6 or 8 owners who check in daily. It's fine here until you fill your league. This is where most of the action is. We'll move it to the competition forum once you're good to start.
