Calf strain that are Level 1 take a few weeks to heal. Level 2 4-6 weeks. A Level 3 or a complete tear takes surgery and months of rehabilitation.

So yes, the injury could be legit. I believe though that there is no rush to get anyone back because the organization needs to get a look at what these young guys have because the roster will be turned over. Who to keep, who to trade, and what positions need upgrading are decisions that need answers ASAP. Lack of player development over the last few years is finally come to fruition.
And the head of this organization and the legends of Assistants that hang around him, have become so many groupie pawns. For a learning organization, this is lethal.

The biggest question might be: who has enough perception and confidence to tell the boss? It's the lack of accountability all the way down...welcome to the cult of loyalty.

I will tolerate a lot of things, but bad mouthing the calf & shin doctors association isn't one of them!

Re: Are Sheed and Rip sitting out?

They showed Rip & Sheed working out during the game. That's got to count for something.

Well...don't worry Ernie. When surgery is needed, I can see you taking out your pocket knife and saying, "my edge is sharp."

Re: Are Sheed and Rip sitting out?

When was the last time the Pistons got injury plague ?
Something is brewing behind the scene where Tay and Suckey are aware of and got their games hurted becaues both are the odd guys who can't handle it. Just my conspiracy.

Re: Are Sheed and Rip sitting out?

Another conspiracy theory. Would the Pistons want AI to come back before Rip? If he did, it might cause more problems. There's a story in one of the papers that Rip and Sheed may be back Saturday and AI on Sunday.
