Time for the big boys to come out and strut their stuff. The best basketball GM minds on PistonsForum.Com will get together to determine who is indeed the next Joey D. of fantasy basketball. Please respond to this thread if you are interested in putting your skills to the test. We will try to keep the league limited to 12 teams.

Like the Novice league, we will again be utilizing Yahoo as our fantasy basketball provider, however this year we will be adding a trial league to our list of options for Fantasy buffs.

In an effort to experiment with different Fantasy Basketball formats, we will also be opening up a NBA.com league to all of our members. This will be open to advanced and novice players alike. (Yes, participants of the Novice or Advanced league are still eligible to participate in the Trial league) The amount of spots will be limited so please respond to this thread quickly if you want to be part of the pilot team. More details to follow.

Well its about darn time. Those Novices have been up a running for a while now!

I'm in for both the advanced league and the trial league.

This year, I'm coming out guns a blazin' (hazen) and #1 Pistonfan is now public enemy #1!

I wouldn't worry about that too much Jammer, my friend. Yahoo hasn't even set up registration for the new season yet.

Besides, you know that those novice dudes tend to be a little over anxious and they typically need a head start just to keep up with the big boys.

You got that right. I need a LLLLLOOOOOOONG lead time to get balls rolling on my projects. I only ask that you advanced leaguers KEEP UP with the smack talk. I know I have Darth MegaMouth so you will be playing 'ketchup' in the banter department but we want to see ya'll share the fun of your leagues.

I'll take a stab at it again. There wasn't to much smack in the advanced league unlike the 100 pages of constant blabble from the novice league.
But it was fun and unless some newbies signup won't it be 2 advanced leagues? We can't have the Darth sandbagging it in the novice league,winning the ship graduated him didn't it?

Count me in. Hopefully I won't have my starting Center and SG/SF go down with lengthy injuries this season.

Count me in for Advanced league again. I finished 7th last year in the second tier as I missed participating in the live draft and only had Kobe as my marquee player and struggled all season in the rebounding and blocks department.

I am also going to play in the Novice League too so keep me abreast of the events for the advanced so that I don't miss the draft this time.
