I don't think I could make that offer without blushing.
You better hope we don't play again mister!

As far as it seems, most people in this league need rebounders and shotblockers, maybe that's why there are so many trade offers floating around that are kind of ridicolous

I think it goes like this. A guy wants to improve his team. He looks at his team and sees a guy or two that is an average player or somebody maybe a bit too good to be on the wire.

So he says, you know, I need lots of points. I think Kobe would really help me.

So he offers the deal. To me, that is just senseless. Hello???? Why in the world would somebody give up their stud/good players for your decent/borderline guys? It just makes no sense to me.

It's funny...if they aren't trying to screw someone over, how come they never offer a deal that goes the other way? Sorry, those are my thoughts on the matter. You guys can do whatever you like. Just please do not send me any ridiculous offers.

I'm currently facing a rough time not offering you Desmond Mason or Louis Scola for Antawn Jamison

I always explain why I think a deal is unfair rather than just calling it ridiculous. It gets you closer to understanding what the percieved market value is for your player. Who knows, the person offering the trade may see a strategy with your team that you hadn't considered. My two cents.

Honestly, that would be the typical offer I've received.

I agree Mo. I almost always add a comment when I reject a trade offer. It gives the other person an idea if he's: close, way off, what you're looking for, or that you just aren't interested in trading player X at this time.

I appreciate it when the others do the same with my trade offers, rather than just rejecting it outright. If I'm way off, let me know. If you just aren't interested in making a move, let me know that too.

good start to the week, boozer drops another 32/10, mikki moore actually grabs 9 boards and krstic gets 10, as they finally got minutes (29 and 35), while martin chipped in 4 threes. i'm glad pastor isn't my opponent anymore...7 threes from j.r. smith? sheesh!

Common courtesy is always nice. I have made a couple of proposals that I thought was fair and each hung out there for a couple of days and then just vanished.
