That way it appeared like it was one long game and we were coaches making in game adjustments......but if you want to lock it, let it happen at midnite so that we can review our roster and make any final adjustments. My leading rebounder and shot blocker Chris Kaman was already shut down for the season...if anybody else has that fate, one of us might be screwed ...is that bad word on this site?.
Lets just keep it open then? Be more fun that way

Re: Adv. League 07-08 Banter

My squad managed to remain relatively injury free the entire season (only minor injuries to Wilcox, Gordon and Paul that haven't kept them out for long) to brake down at the end and in the playoffs. Marion, whom I acquired for CP3 to improve in my weaknesses (which went good as long as he was healty) went down due to an injury that was originally listed as day to day. Wilcox re- injured his pinkie finger and ended the season earlier.
RIP the hip decided not to play the end of the season. Tim Thomas, who played solid, suddenly collapsed. These injuries were enough to make it impossible to compete. Too bad
See you again next season, fellas!!!

Dre is leading 5-3. I am still in striking range though.

Used to be this golfer when I watched it named Greg Norman, aka the Shark because he used to have a nack for comming from behind and winning on the last day. Thats going to be me. I am the Shark.

Pah!! Thats not the way us Aussies like to remember him. We refer to him as a choker who could never get it done in the clutch.

Quote:
In 1986, he led all four majors after the third round but won only the British Open. (This is jokingly referred to as the "Norman Slam" or the "Saturday Slam," as in he was leading after the third round on Saturday but lost in the final round on Sunday). He is one of only two players to have competed in - and, like Craig Wood, to have lost - play-offs in all four of the major championships. But perhaps the most embarrassing Norman meltdown of all occurred at The Masters in 1996, where he blew a six-stroke lead in the final round and lost the tournament to Nick Faldo by five strokes, shooting a Sunday 78 to Faldo's 67. ESPN, as part of their "ESPN25" 25th-anniversary celebration, ranked Norman's 1996 Masters mishap as the third-biggest sports choke of the last 25 years.
He spent 331 weeks as the Number 1 golfer in the world but only won 2 majors and finished 2nd EIGHT times!

Is this you Max?

I think we have different standards for golfers these days. Not everybody can be Tiger Woods. Back then there was no real standouts after Nicklaus and Palmer one could probably count Nick Faldo since he won 3 masters.

Norman did have a way for comming from behind. He did not always win them but he was usually a threat.

I did change my team back. Some of the stats are still pretty close.
