Still close Max, so my coaching staff had to take over make a few adjustments over the weekend. Didn't know Bobby Jackson was going to sit out Sunday's game with a knee injury. So I had to drop him for Monday's game...Wouldn't be surprised if T-mac sits out Monday or Wednesday's game.

I should not have hung onto Battier over the weekend. He was questionable to play so I took a chance. Going to be stuck with him for tonights game as well.

Re: Adv. League 07-08 Banter

Congratulations to DRE on winning the advanced league championship! A very deserving champ!

Congratulations also to Max for grabbing 2nd place after a rough first half.

And also to Winless who fought with Dre all year for first place in the regular season and got it along with a third place trophy.

Good job to everyone who played hard right to the end (you're my kind of people) and a personal thank you to all those who also showed great sportsmanship along the way. That's what it's all about.

Lastly, thank you also to Motown for putting up with us.

Thanks Darth for the kuddos. I was waiting for the final buzzer to sound before I claimed victory. I want to say that Max the Shark was an excellent worthy opponent and played a great final series. I too was really impressed with his improvement over the season to get to the finals. All of the teams played tough this season and we had fun....maybe now I will get more work done and not have to waste time scouring the waiver wire.

I also want to thank my 9 core players for their contributions > Labron James, Tracey McGrady, Baron Davis, Zach Randolph, Richard Jefferson, Mike Dunleavy, Jordan Farmar, Deshawn Stevenson and Chris Kaman before he went down. If we start the Keeper league I want these guys back.!

This was a good season and I enjoyed the competition and will be ready to defend it next year.

Thanks. You came pretty close last year so its nice to win it.

On my team. I knew a few of the guys I drafted were just off to slow starts so I hung onto them. I also got lucky on the FA wire there. But you do have to research it if you want a chance to get lucky.

In the Finals. I probably should have made a couple of more changes and made them earlier. With Battier it did not dawn on me that there was only 3 more games left so him missing even 1 was a disastor.

Live and learn.

Congrats again.

Thanks Max...You had some good ones with Amare, Steven Jackson, Ray Allen and Tyson Chandler. With the league being stretch to 16 teams some FA were hit and misses and once you found a good one, you kept him. I picked up Stevenson in the first month and Farmar after he singlehandley destroyed the Pistons comeback in that Laker game back in November. Stevenson made 157 three pointers this season and even with Farmers limited play he made 113 from beyond the arc and picked up 77 steals.

Congrats Dre!!!!

This was a challenging season, but very much worth the effort. Congrats to Max and Shark as well. Also thanks to all of the players who stuck it out to the end.

I can't wait for next season.

I picked up J.Moon, Anthony Carter, Brevin Knight, Steve Blake, off the wire. They were not standouts on the surface but really helped in all the other stats. Moon helped in blocks, rebounds and steals. The other guys were good in steals, assists, some 3-pt shooting and they did not kill my pct stats or TO's.
