We have got veteran leadership in spades with Kidd, Duncan, and BigBen Wallace bringing it every night. Add in Andre Iguodala, who can score from anywhere in the building and several places in the parking lot, and the combination of Tayshaun Prince and David Lee, neither of whom ever saw a stat category they couldn’t contribute to (assuming Isiah gets his head out of his butt and plays the kid). Then just to change things up we bring in Hinrich and Mike Miller who will rain so many threes your DirecTV signal will flake out.

And the guys at the end of the bench are all solid starters in the league – Bogut and Kristic rebound, shoot well, and don’t turn the ball over, and Randy Foye is going to see a whole new world this season in Minny.

Even Sprocket the kitten can see that this one is over. (She just yawned, stopped eating the USB cable, and nodded in agreement.)
Well, my l'il stevie dribbles a lot.

For the sake of keeping the league on a level playing field, Arroyo was banned from the competition. Pepe Sanchez and Rodney White are still available, by the way.

What about fringe players like Mejia and Super Dupe? Can I add them and send them to NBDL to stew?

You can always sign Super Dupe. Give him the vets min, put him in a nice suit, and sit him on the bench.

Okie dokie...

Kidd - back
Wallace - ankle
Bogut - wrist

At least so far this year none of the Sprockets have injured another Sprocket.

Re: Novice League Banter 07-08

The question is, whether having been a Sprocket last year means that a player will be injury plagued for the rest of his career. You may need to check both current and past Sprockets. In a couple of years the pool of available players may shrink so much the league has to shut down.
