Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

The deadline is Sunday night Midnight Pacific Time. (Can someone on the East coast confirm whether it is Midnight Eastern or 3am Eastern?) It is definitely Midnight Pacific over here.

The main reason this is a weekly lineup setting is because most of the people who were interested in the league only would've played this way.

The consesus was a 'Low-maintenance league' which meant Weekly lineups. To be honest, that's how it has gone so far considering the small amount of moves people are making (or perhaps I just have a shoddy team and require lots of changes)

Next season if I come back as Commish I will make a Poll/s with questions such as 'Weekly or Daily' and 'Sunday or Monday' lineup deadline, but the consesus prior to the start of this league is what you currently have in place.

Thanks for the feedback though.

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

Right now I only check it 2-3 times a week. On Sunday and a couple of times midweek. But I could have lived with a daily league

I like weekly. I don't get the complaint...if you are willing to keep tabs and play daily, how is playing weekly a problem? You don't have to set your lineup on Sunday...you can do it days in advance.

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

I haven't changed my lineup since the first week after the draft, and my team is in second place.

My Novice League team, where I set the lineups weekly I'm in last place.

I think I finally got my legs in this league over the past few weeks, but alas...too little, too late. Barring a miracle, all I can do now is play spoiler to playoff positions

Good luck to all in the post season

Re: Scrubs League post-draft talk

this is my 2nd victory in a row in a scrubs league- I'm glad I was able to confirm my last year's title (we had the draft a little bit too late as the season had already started and I got to pick first and took Kevin Martin)!
Although this victory was somehow bittersweet too, since the final result was 4-4 and I probably only won because of the regular season.
